Keeping Pets and People Together - Nation Wide

In 2025, BestyBnB continued to strengthen the bridge between animal welfare and human services, ensuring pet ownership is never a barrier to accessing lifesaving support. Here’s a snapshot of what we accomplished together:

🌍 Expanding Our Reach

• 106 agencies engaged across mental health and substance use treatment, domestic & sexual violence services, housing insecurity, animal welfare, veterans’ services, and more!

• 25 states and provinces reached, spanning coast to coast - from the Pacific to the Atlantic, and internationally

🤝 Building Strong Partnerships

• 55 animal welfare & social service agencies actively partnering with BestyBnB to provide crisis pet services

• 13 Community Meetings hosted, bringing together animal welfare and social service leaders

  • 65+ participants strengthening cross-sector collaboration

• 25 national and state organizations advancing collaborative solutions for people and pets, including participation in 7 national and local coalitions/committees working together to support pet owners in crisis

🎓 Education & Capacity Building

• 24 webinars provided

  • 350+ registrations and attendees through BestyBnB

• 75+ hours of one-on-one technical assistance provided to BestyBnB Agency Partners to create or expand crisis pet foster programs

Every conversation, partnership, and training in 2025 helped move us closer to a future where people never have to choose between their safety, health, or stability - and their pets.
